After working for a number of years in regional independent insurance agencies, Fran joined Rose & Kiernan in 1985 as a Commercial Lines Service Representative, also working in the Commercial Lines marketing department handling renewal placements.

In 1995, Fran was promoted to Vice President and elected to a seat on the Rose & Kiernan Board of Directors.  In 1998, she took on the responsibility of managing client services for the personal lines department along with the core unit, which consists of both small commercial accounts and the commercial lines processing unit. 

Fran was promoted to Senior Vice President in 1999 and given the responsibility for all Commercial and Personal Lines client services. In 2005, Fran accepted the client service responsibility for the employee benefits management group.

Fran earned the designation of Charter Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) in 1995, and served as President of the NE NY Chapter of CPCU from 2003 to 2004.  She has also served as a member on numerous Insurance Company Agency Councils. Currently, Fran is Vice President of the Capital District Insurance Community, Inc. and has been a committee member of the Albany I-Day since 2005.
