Bob joined Rose & Kiernan, Inc. in 1997 and has over 22 years of experience in the field of Employee Benefits.  Prior to joining Rose & Kiernan, Inc. Bob spent 8 years working for a large national insurance agency attaining the title of Vice President of Sales and Marketing.  He is a 1977 graduate of Hotchkiss and a 1981 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point.  Additionally, Bob holds the professional designations of CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter), CEBS (Certified Employee Benefit Specialist) and RHU (Registered Health Underwriter).  Bob is responsible for the operations of the Employee Benefits Management Group.

Bob is the immediate Past President of the Albany Chapter of the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists (ISCEBS), and is a current Board Member of the Albany Medical Center Foundation and The Council of Employee Benefit Executives (CEBE-CIAB)

He is a Member of the National Association of Health Underwriters, the International Foundation of Employee Benefits, and in 1997, was awarded the NYS Conspicuous Service Cross by Governor George Pataki.
