VACATION 2008

Below is your eligible vacation time for 2008. Our vacation policy is outlined in the employee handbook. Your amount of vacation time is determined by your start date with Rose and Kiernan, Inc. or your seniority date through a merger/acquisition.

If your date of hire is: You are eligible for:

October 31, 1992 or prior 5 weeks vacation

November 1, 1992 to October 31, 2002 4 weeks vacation

November 1, 2002 to September 30, 2007 3 weeks vacation

October 1, 2007 to April 30, 2008 2 weeks vacation following 3 months of employment

May 1, 2008 to August 31, 2008 1 week vacation following 3 months of employment

September1, 2008 to December 31, 2008 No vacation time in 2008.

Please refer to the employee handbook for protocol for scheduling vacation time. As a reminder, the following rules apply:

Vacation time must be used in either ½ day (3.75 hours) or full day time periods. Vacation time should be approved by your team leader or manager prior to being scheduled.

December and April are extremely busy months. Vacation requests during December must be submitted and approved by your supervisor prior to October 1, 2008. Requests for vacation during these months may be denied.
