2016 ACA and Beyond
The Affordable Care Act 2016 and Beyond
Join us for a webinar on Oct 28, 2015 at 10:00 AM EDT.
When the Supreme Court ruled in 2012 to uphold the Health Care Reform Law (ACA), the focus on Health Care Reform turned squarely back to compliance.
As you know, major changes are on the horizon for 2016. It is critical for you to understand the pending reform and reporting requirements, which will help you protect your company and your employees, now and into the future.
In particular, the Affordable Care Act added new sections, 6055 and 6056, to the Internal Revenue Code requiring employers to report on the offer of group health plans to their full time employees. These reports are required for the enforcement of the Employer Shared Responsibility Requirements, often referred to as the “Employer Mandate”. The information required by this Code can be confusing and differs from insured plans to self-funded plans, to multi-employer plans. This webinar will review the forms, 1095-C and 1094-C, identify which employers are required to complete them, and a discussion of the Rose & Kiernan approach to supporting our clients.
Additionally, we will discuss the proposed Non-Discrimination rules for insured health plans as well as the current status of the “Cadillac Tax”
