Employers Must Submit OSHA Form 300A By March 2, 2019

Don’t forget to submit your OSHA 300A form by March 2, 2019! If your company had 250 or more employees at any time during 2018, you must submit your OSHA 300A form electronically by March 2, 2019.

However, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) issued a new final rule January 24, 2019 to protect the privacy of workers and companies with 250 or more employees no longer have to submit their OSHA 300 and 301 Forms electronically. If you have 250 or more employees you must still complete and maintain these forms onsite but you are no longer required to submit them electronically. For more information read the news release.

For companies with 20 to 249 employees, if your industry is on the list in appendix A to subpart E you must also submit your OSHA 300A Form electronically.

Note – this is not to be confused with an earlier blog post that reminded employers to post the OSHA 300A form from February 1 – April 30, 2019.
