Rose & Kiernan, Inc. Gives Back Through “Dress Down” Day
A dress down day is a great, simple fundraiser for a workplace which can produce meaningful results. For several years, Rose & Kiernan, Inc. has provided opportunity for employees to “dress down” on Fridays when making a monetary donation to charity. Charitable recipients are recommended solely by R&K employees, one each month, and a portion of the total donation is also paid from the Rose & Kiernan, Inc. Charitable Foundation.
The Rose & Kiernan, Inc. Charitable Foundation was founded in 2002. It supports a wide range of not-for-profit initiatives in the areas where we live, work and raise families. In addition, our dedicated, hard-working employees are very active in all kinds of organizations within their community. They serve as presidents, board members, volunteers and much more!
In 2019, we are starting the year off by supporting the Schenectady Community Ministries, recommended by Laurie Kuhne of our East Greenbush, New York office. For updates on who we are supporting in the coming months, make sure to follow us on our different social media streams: Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.
