Rose & Kiernan will be attending the New York Propane Gas Association (NYPGA) Fall Conference in Syracuse, New York on October 30, 2018 where Shauna Waldin, PHR will be giving a brief update on New York State (NYS) Paid Family Leave (PFL) for 2019. This presentation will review the qualified reasons for taking Paid Family Leave along with the 2019 premium rates and benefit rates and tips for coordinating with your insurance carrier. Shauna will also review how such leaves should be handled when carrying over from 2018 to 2019, and what the maximum amount of leave available will be in the upcoming year.
The NYPGA is a member-focused trade organization that provides services that communicate, educate and promote the propane industry in New York. This industry is highly regulated, so the NYPGA regularly hosts events such as the 2018 NYPGA Fall Conference to focus on education, networking, representing the interests of New York’s propane businesses to the government and assisting members in remaining current on important regulations in the propane industry.
